How do I commission you?
-Depends on what you're getting. If you want a preclaim, read below. For custom characters, you'll need to fill out my quote form. Once I review your quote and give you a set price, you'll use that information to fill out my commission form during openings. You can keep yourself updated about my next opening via my Instagram (@caprikki) or my Trello.
What is a preclaim and how do I buy one?
- A preclaim is a character I've created and put up for sale. These are generally for people who don't have a character of their own, but can also be for people who simply like the character and wish to purchase it. If you wish to buy a preclaim, you will be guaranteed a slot in my next opening. All you have to do is fill out my commission form when I open and wait for me to contact you. Preclaims are first come, first serve. Please keep in mind that I may limit how many I take per opening. Preclaims can only be seen on my Instagram (@caprikki) story highlights.
Do you take payment plans?
-I do! I take payment plans up to 2 additional months (20% deposit fee is still required). After paying the deposit fee, you will have a total of 90 days to finish paying the suit off. It is recommended to have at least an extra $100 put aside for shipping. If I manage to finish making your suit before you finish paying it off, it will not be shipped until then.
How much is shipping?
-I ship via UPS through PirateShip and it usually estimates between $50-$100 within the states. International shipping will, of course, cost more.
Can I pick up the suit instead of paying for shipping?
-Yes if you're willing to drive near me.
Do you ship worldwide?
-I've heard many stories of worldwide shipping going wrong with fursuits but if you're willing to take the risk then yes, I will ship anywhere. I hold no liability for stolen/lost suits. Shipping fees vary.
What payment apps do you use?
-Cashapp and Zelle are the main two I use at the moment. I only use PayPal for quote fees, NOT commission fees at this time. I also do direct bank transfers.
What's your turnaround time?
-Depends on what you get, what my current schedule is like, and your place in my queue. It normally takes about a couple of weeks to finish a partial but it can range from an additional 1 month to 3+ months if you're further back in my queue. Keep track of my queue via my Trello.
Is there a waitlist/Can I reserve a slot?
-No. I want everyone to have an equal opportunity to commission me. Preclaims, however, are guaranteed slots if you're fast enough.
If I pay the suit off quickly, do I get a higher spot in queue?
-Yes! I tend to put people who pay it off sooner further up within that batch of new commissioners.
Can I wear glasses in suit?
-Yes! I make all my suits glasses compatible.
Are your suits lined?
-Yes, I make sure to fully line each and every single one of my suits.
Can I get just a head now and come back later for paws, tail, etc?
-I highly suggest that you plan accordingly and get everything at once.
Do you take rush orders/deadlines?
-I do not. Please plan accordingly.
Can you make a suit of another person's character?
-No, I will not make suits based off other personal characters/designs. I may, however, make suits based off more well known characters only if there's no rules against it made by the character's creator(s).
Do you do head refurbishments?
-No, I do not do refurbs.
